This is a six-minute demonstration video of me painting Behind the Red Barn.  The scene is modeled on a Civil War battlefield in Cedar Creek, Virginia. The back story is told in detail in my March 12, 2021 blog entry, which is accessible through the main menu of this website. In short, two ancestors fought in same battle. One lived, one died.
