Algeria - Storks, Setif

This pen and ink/watercolor painting was inspired by a visit to Setif, Algeria, where I saw a great collective roost of storks in grove of trees at a farm I was visiting. I sought in this picture, by means of different windows, to capture some of the fascinating patterns of tree, crook, nest and nesting pairs. The painting is matted and framed by Dar El Kenz, Algiers.
