Acropolis - Pink

I initially did this piece as an exercise in color complements, mainly shades of red and green.  What I liked most were the pinks and purple-grays, especially on the shady portion of the Acropolis itself.   So I called it "Pink Acropolis", one of a number of watercolors I did of the Acropolis named after the dominant color effect of the painting.   Others feature red, blue, brown, red-violet, and purple.   The painting is framed and floated on glass by Anna Kyriakaki of Athens.
