Approaching the Bridge

This watercolor stems from an encounter with kayakers when I was sketching near the railroad bridge over the Royal River in Yarmouth, Maine. I told them I expected to turn my sketch into a painting and I might put a kayak in it. They were delighted. Here it is. The painting is 20 inches tall and 14 inches wide, framed to 26 inches x 20 inches.
